How to Properly Use Busbar Processing Machine to Extend Service Life

Release time:2026-05-22     Visits:13

Busbar processing machine is professional equipment for forming copper and aluminum busbars. It is mainly used for cutting, punching round holes, slotted holes and square holes, flat bending, vertical bending, embossing, copper bar pressing and terminal crimping. Mastering operational knowledge is essential. Improper operation will damage the equipment, affect normal operation and even cause personal injury to operators.

Initial Startup

Fill oil into the oil tank before the first startup to prevent oil pump damage. Thoroughly read the operation manual and get familiar with machine performance, structure and operation methods. Avoid wearing loose clothes during operation to prevent safety accidents.

Preheating

Preheat the machine for a short period after power-on. When the ambient temperature is below 0℃, run the machine idle for several minutes to ensure stable subsequent operation.

Exclusive Personnel Management

Operate in strict accordance with operating rules. Assign a special supervisor to coordinate work when multiple staff operate the machine. Stop the machine completely before die replacement. Stay alert when holding workpieces waiting for slider movement. Regularly check the sharpness of cutting blades and punching dies, and grind or replace dull edges timely. Die installation, commissioning and disassembly shall be handled by skilled workers following standard procedures. Never place hands or any body parts between upper and lower dies while the machine is running.

Environmental Requirements

Install the machine away from direct sunlight and thermal radiation. Avoid excessively humid, dusty and corrosive environments. Corrosive gas deteriorates electronic components, leading to poor contact and short circuits. Precision numerical control equipment shall be kept far from heavily vibrating machines such as punching and forging presses.

Oil Circuit Maintenance

Keep hydraulic oil clean and oil passages unobstructed. Lubricate moving parts of each unit regularly. Ensure flexible movement and accurate positioning of electric and hydraulic components. Shut down the machine immediately for inspection once abnormalities occur. Check the oil tank regularly. Refill hydraulic oil when the liquid level reaches or drops below the red marking line. Replace the oil if it thickens, tends to solidify or turns dark brown.

Lubrication Maintenance

Apply lubricant to moving parts of punching, cutting and bending units twice daily before morning and afternoon shifts. Lubricate the workbench and all units before work ends. Coat punching, cutting and bending dies with lubricant every 20 working cycles.
