Daily maintenance is essential to extend service life, guarantee machining accuracy and boost production efficiency. Relevant precautions are listed as follows:
Equipment Cleaning
Clear metal scraps, oil stains and dust on the machine surface and workbench daily after operation. Wipe the casing with clean cloth to keep it tidy. Blow away residual debris with compressed air for hard-to-reach areas. Avoid debris accumulation which impairs heat dissipation and normal operation. Prevent metal scraps from scratching the surface or damaging internal parts.
Component Lubrication
Lubricate all lubrication points regularly in accordance with operating manuals. Key lubrication positions include guide rails, lead screws, bearings and transmission chains. Apply lubricating oil to guide rails and lead screws, and grease to bearings and chains. Ensure even coating without omissions. Regular lubrication reduces friction and wear, prolongs component service life and maintains operational precision.
Hydraulic System Inspection
Check hydraulic oil level frequently and keep it within standard range. Top up qualified hydraulic oil in time when the level is insufficient. Replace deteriorated, emulsified or contaminated oil promptly. Inspect pipelines and joints for leakage, tighten connectors or replace seals once leaks occur. Proper hydraulic condition effectively prevents machine breakdowns.
Electrical System Maintenance
Regularly check wiring firmness and eliminate loose or disconnected cables. Examine working conditions of contactors, relays, switches and other electric parts, and check for abnormal heat, peculiar smell and unusual noise. Keep the electric control cabinet clean and dry to avoid performance failure caused by dust and moisture. Replace aging and damaged components timely to ensure safe and stable operation.
